Who we are

Katatude is a brand of The Digital Sip Canada Inc., based in British Columbia, Canada. We provide advertising, automation and email marketing services to class based businesses.

In this policy, "we" and "us" means The Digital Sip Canada Inc.

You can reach us at [email protected] about anything in this policy, including requests to see, correct or delete your information.

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit the site.

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, business name, and anything else you tell us in a form, a survey, a booking or an email.

Booking information. When you book a call, the date and time you chose, your timezone, and any notes you add.

Automatic information. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visited, how long you stayed, and which site or ad sent you here.

Cookies and similar technologies. Small files stored on your device that let us measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs.

How we use it

To reply to you and to run the call you booked

To provide our services if you become a client

To send you marketing emails and text messages, where you have agreed to receive them

To measure and improve how the site and our advertising perform

Email and text messages

If you give us your details and agree to hear from us, we may send you marketing emails about our services.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. It works, and we act on it promptly. You can also reply to any message and ask us to stop.

SMS consent. By providing your mobile number and ticking the consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Katatude relating to your enquiry and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and tracking pixels to understand how people find and use the site, and to measure whether our advertising is working. This includes tools provided by [e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads].

These tools may set cookies that allow us to show you our ads on other websites and platforms. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising through the settings offered by each platform.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run our business, and only as far as they need it to do their job:

Some of these providers are based outside Canada, which means your information may be stored or processed in another country and subject to the laws of that country.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and marketing information for as long as it is useful and you have not asked us to delete it. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and afterwards for as long as we are required to for tax and legal reasons.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law, and other laws that may apply to you, you can ask us to:

Tell you what personal information we hold about you

Correct anything that is wrong or out of date

Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it

Stop sending you marketing messages

Email [email protected] and we will respond within [30] days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Keeping it safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls and reputable service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of [16]. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make a significant change, we will make that clear on this page.
